"The Independent" iss. 11 Mar 1887 - "Mr. Reynolds was improving. It was
hoped his cancer could be stopped."

"Burr Oak Herald" iss. 21 Jul 1887 - p.1 Holmwood - "Mr. Elisha Reynolds died
last Saturday the 16th inst. He is done with immense suffering that he had
to go through, while here but we hope he has gone at rest now and our
sympathy is with the bereaved friends of the deceased."

"Burr Oak Republican" iss. 28 Jul 1887 - Troublecreek - "The will of Elisha
Reynolds was read last Monday [i.e. 25 July] being ten days after his death.
There is dissatisfaction on the part of some and arrangements are being made
to break the will, as it is claimed that it was not done according to law,
there being no witnesses when the will was made. While one of the interested
being present at the time."

Died 17 Jul 1887 in Jewell Co., Kansas from cancer after long illness
according to newspaper obit.

Julie married Levi Goodenough, son of Levi Goodenough and Clarrisa Mixer (Mexer), on 16 Aug 1870 in Cedar Rapids Linn Iowa. (Levi Goodenough was born in 1811 in Brattleboro, Windham, Vt. and died Aft.1854.)

David Wallace, an old citizen of Lone Rock, died quite suddenly on Nov. 13, 1881. Mr. Wallace was born in Iroquois, Canada, June 10, 1800. In 1821 he was wedded to Lydia Hitchcock, from which union sprang up a family of ten boys and two girls, all of whom survived him. In 1849 Mr. Wallace brought his family to the United States, locating in Ohio, where they resided until 1853, when they came to Richland Co., Wis. In 1865 the wife and mother died, since which time the old gentleman had resided with his son, John Wallace, of Lone Rock
